Shared-Core

The Shared-Core instance allows you to select resources that best suit your workloads and applications with a reasonable price from using a shared CPU, including

This machine type is designed for both low traffic non-production applications: dev/test servers, low traffic web servers, blogs, small database, repository storage, and non-production applications that require CPU-intensive operation: high-performance (lowercase) web server, batch processing, active front-end web servers.

The Shared-Core type cannot be used by Windows instance (both launching and resizing)

Case 1

For domestic bandwidth usage, it will cost only the IP allocation.

In case that you have 2 external IPs and your total domestic bandwidth usage of the current hour is 5 TB. The price of this case has to be calculated as follows :

The total cost of external IPs will be

  • 2 External IPs
  • cost 0.18 THB x 2 IPs= 0.36 THB/hour

The total cost of domestic bandwidth usage is free of charge.

Therefore, the total cost of your external IPs with domestic bandwidth usage for the current hour will be 0.36 THB

Case 2

For international bandwidth usage, the price must include both IP allocations and International Internet Gateway bandwidth (IIG).

In case that you have 2 external IPs and your total international bandwidth usage of the previous hour was 1000 GB, then the usage of the current hour has now increased to 1200 GB. The price of this case has to be calculated as follows :

The total cost of external IPs will be

  • 2 External IPs
  • cost 0.18 THB x 2 IPs= 0.36 THB/hour

The total cost of international bandwidth usage will be

  • First 24 GB
  • cost 2.31 THB x (1024 GB - 1000 GB)= 55.44 THB
  • Next 176 GB
  • cost 2.18 THB x (1200 GB - 1024 GB) = 383.68 THB

Therefore, the total cost of your external IPs with international bandwidth usage for the current hour will be 0.36 + (55.44 + 383.68) = 439.48 THB.

In case that you have 10 DDoS Protected IPs and your total domestic bandwidth usage of this month is 5 TB. The price of this case has to be calculated as follows :

The total cost of DDoS Protected IPs will be

  • 1st to 4th IP
  • cost 5,500 THB x 4 IPs= 22,000 THB/month
  • 5th to 9th IP
  • cost 4,900 THB x 5 IPs= 24,500 THB/month
  • 10th IP
  • cost 4,500 THB= 4,500 THB/month

The total cost of domestic bandwidth usage is free of charge.

Therefore, the total monthly charge of your DDoS Protected IP for domestic use will be (22,000 + 24,500 + 4,500) = 51,000 THB.

Case 2

For international bandwidth usage, the price must include both IP allocations and International Internet Gateway bandwidth (IIG).

In case that you have 10 DDoS Protected IPs and your total internation bandwidth usage of this month is 5 TB. The price of this case has to be calculated as follows :

The total cost of DDoS Protected IPs will be

  • 1st to 4th IP
  • cost 5,500 THB x 4 IPs= 22,000 THB/month
  • 5th to 9th IP
  • cost 4,900 THB x 5 IPs= 24,500 THB/month
  • 10th IP
  • cost 4,500 THB= 4,500 THB/month

The total cost of international bandwidth usage will be

  • First 1 TB
  • cost 2.31 THB x (1 x 1024 GB)= 2,356.20 THB
  • Next 4 TB
  • cost 2.18 THB x (4 x 1024 GB)= 8,929.28 THB

Therefore, the total monthly charge of your DDoS Protected IP for international use will be (22,000 + 24,500 + 4,500) + (2,356.20 + 8,929.28) = 62,285.48 THB
